Vunisei to Vacalea Access Road Project is a $9.9 million project which includes design and build of approximately 7.8km of unsealed road and pilot cut of 24.2km road. Works also include designing and building of nine (9) low level crossings. The scope of works for the project includes clearing of vegetation and formation of a pilot cut track; drainage associated with road construction (e.g. water channel construction, clearing vegetation and extension or possible replacement of substandard culverts and headwalls); earthworks; shaping of existing road surface to design profile. The project is expected to be completed by July 2022
