The Department of Building & Governments Architect’s focus and priority is on the timely provision of professional advice through consulting services, conceptual designing, quality architectural and structural drawings, project planning and management, costing and scheduling through quantity surveying, programming and monitoring from project inception to completion. Administration of tenders and contracts for construction and civil works is also an integral domain of this department with climate change resilience.
The department also consults with stakeholders on issues related to compliance with legislations and industry standards and is also the parent body that administers the licensing of the approved registered Architects under the Architects Registration Board.
Develop and apply management service techniques. Monitor physical and financial progress of the departments building maintenance programs and conduct physical surveys of building work specification and estimates.
Our services include costing (budget and engineers), professional and technical advice, maintenance scoping works, preparation of construction control documents, tender documentation & evaluation, contract administration, variation order assessment, progress payment, site inspection and reporting, monitoring and controlling of costs, project cost projections and stakeholder collaboration & management.
