Department of Corporate Services

Overview

The Department offers support services to all divisions of the Ministry of Public Works, Meteorological Services, and Transport, focusing on enhancing strategic success and employee work quality. Key areas of support include recruitment, employee administration, policy compliance, learning and development, strategic planning, records management, customer service, data management, and occupational health and safety.

The Finance section ensures transparency and accountability in its operations, adhering to accounting and auditing standards and government regulations. Its responsibilities include coordinating the Ministry’s budget, providing timely financial reports, managing the Debtors ledger, handling monetary receipts, processing payments, overseeing asset management and inventory, and collaborating with the Audit Office and Ministry of Finance for audits.
